Within the rows of the magnificent buildings in the "most grand street of Rothenburg", this patrician house from the 13th century has lost nothing of its medieval charm.
The times are long gone in which bread house and wine cellar of a Franciscan monastery were located here and the later Emperor Maximilian was a crown prince guest. Timber framing and natural stones, however, that look back at more than 700 years of history, have remained and take the guests on a journey through time. They also shape the atmosphere in the lovingly and elaborately restored rooms. The bathrooms, whose designs remind of the medieval age without giving up modern comfort, are exceptionally generous. The hallway presents a café that is surrounded by historical books - a perfect attunement for your stay.
Within only a few steps you can walk to the marketplace, visit the Old Rothenburg Craftsman's House with eleven originally furnished rooms and go to the Toppler Theater (from June until August).
